Female bodybuilding is the female component of competitive bodybuilding. It began in the late 1970s when women began to take part in bodybuilding competitions.
Irene was born in Denmark in 1966, she moved to Sweden at the age of 2 with her parents. Raised in Malmo but moved to Gothenburg when she was 20. Irene spent years in gym, worked hard to build this, for the funs of bodybuilding, wonderful body. Beautiful or odd you have to admit that she deserve name “the strongest woman in Sweden” and maybe wider?
Irene about herself: “I have been training all my life… At early age I started with jazz ballet and judo and when I was 15 years old I started with bodybuilding. A friend of mine owned a gym and I was stuck! Since that day I have been following everything within female bodybuilding.”
She is also really into Kick- and Thai boxing so we suggest you to be friendly with Irene if you see her on the street – like a lady deserve…

I don’t think any of the extreme body builders are attractive. The bulging veins would seem to be an unhealthy condition. It is fascinating how the body becomes with such a regimine regardless of how they reach that look. I don’t think this person was born a female either. I would say the person had breast implants as they look odd – like bowls glued onto the chest. I wonder how such bodies look when they are unable to do the extreme workouts required to maintain the look.

holy shit women don’t produce hormone Testosterone for building muscle.even if they lift heavy weights nothing will happen to them as they don’t produce the male hormone.so they inject in the form of steroids ,so it’s possible for this woman to look like tht.

@jimmu, yes women do produce testosterone. All of us, not just the bodybuilders. I have no idea whether she took steroids, or whether she started life as a man, but I assure you she produces testosterone. And here’s another newsflash: men produce estrogen.

She’s not a transsexual, she is a genetic woman who obviously enjoys feeling & looking strong. It’s a very addictive thing is bodybuilding and the feeling it gives you makes you want more. All these comments about how she’s ugly or was born a man are cruel… It’s cruel to say she doesn’t love herself, because she does. Bodybuilding is what she loves, so she does it, yes it effects her body, and I’m sure she envies other women from time to time, but this is what she enjoys and her life is built around it, so don’t go saying she doesn’t care about herself, because the reason she does this is BECAUSE she cares. Same applies to tatoos for example. It’s not nasty, it’s not repulsive, because she’s doing what she loves and personally, I think that’s simply beautiful. Do what you love, live life the way you want to. A lot of people could learn from her.
