Twenty percent of all those who undergo surgery for lower back pain will get no relief. The remaining 80 percent will have problems ranging from mild to severe. All will have trouble with spinal flexion.

Yoga does not offer cures. It simply promises that if you faithfully practice these asanas every day, there will be no pain and you will build up a strong and supple spine, restructuring posture and body image. Once you have back problems you must remain conscious all through the day of how you stand, sit and lie down. Here are a few guidelines:

Always sleep on a firm (not necessarily hard) bed, with a flat pillow under your head and a thicker one under your knees. This will help the spine to reposition and adjust itself.

Do not wear high heels as this promotes lumbar lordosis and throws the spine out of balance.

Do not go in for break-dancing, strenuous aerobics, jogging, running or anything where you need to bounce or jiggle. Guarded activity is the key here.

For lower back pain, sitting is the most painful. Sit on a firm seat, not squashy cushions, and sit on your buttock bones. Do not loll back on the tailbone or lower spine. Wedge a rolled towel or small cushion behind your back to keep you upright. Sit as often as possible in The Diamond Posture (Figure 1) in order to benefit the sciatic nerve and to cure a convex or a lateral curvature of the spine.
When the pain is acute and you can neither sit nor stand in comfort, rest in bed, take whatever anti-inflammatory or analgesic medications your physician prescribes, and wait until the pain is milder before starting on these postures.

All these asanas have healing and curative properties. They will act as a form of mild traction, gently stretching the spinal muscles in safe extension postures. Strength will be gradually built up in the paraspinal muscles and buttocks, abdominal organs will be toned and strengthened, and pressure points all along the spine will be stimulated. Practice each asana to the point where mild pain is felt.

Just viewing your CV for 10 seconds can be enough for a potential employer to decide whether or not to offer you an interview. Remember you only have one chance to make a first impression so you need to make it a good one! This is hard enough to do in your home country; imagine how hard it will be in a foreign country where you not only have to produce a great CV but you also need to do it in another language. You and your CV are a lot like a business and a new product. Basically you could have an amazing product to sell that you know will do well within its market but if you don’t promote it correctly it will fail to make an impression; well the same sort of principle can be applied to you. You could tick all the boxes and be the ideal candidate for a job but if you don’t come across well in the translation of your CV then you have no chance of getting called for an interview. Remember this is your personal marketing document we are taking about; it needs to stand out from the crowd for all the right reasons. So if you are applying for a job outside of a country with your native tongue, it is important that you seek professional help for the translation of your CV. Even if you have a relatively good grasp of a language it still comes highly advisable that you hire a professional translation service to help you either write or translate a resume and cover letter. This can be a challenging task and is one that you can’t afford to make a mistake on. You may think that you have translated or written it perfectly but in situations like this there will generally be mistakes either within your writing or your grammar; a professional translation service on the other hand will leave you with a CV that not only reads fluently but follows unwritten rules within a particular country, but what exactly is meant by this? Throughout the globe there are many national differences that crop up about how a resume should be written and presented, so if you want yours to be taken seriously you need to take on board these unwritten rules. For example in Germany, folding your resume to fit in an envelope is out of the question. Instead you need to use an A4 envelope as well as include supporting material. It is aspects such as this that makes hiring a professional translation service so advisable. Not only will they make an accurate translation of your CV and cover letter but they can provide additional information in regards formats and conventions of the specific country you are trying to get a job in. Use A Professional Translation Service To Translate Your CV – Make the right impression:Your resume should be self-oriented and clearly demonstrate how your skills and personal traits will benefit a potential employer. It should reflect specific targeted content in order to sell you effectively to your prospective employer. So avoid inexcusable errors and have a great looking professional CV, written in the appropriate language with correct grammar by getting a professional translation service to translate it for you.

Scientific jobs usually involve some research. The jobholder would have specialized training and experience in a field, and the ability to draw on it to conduct field or laboratory research. For example, a clinical research assistant working for a clinical research organization can be required to go out into the field and record the findings of clinical trials for medical devices or medication.

In such cases, in addition to knowledge in the field of science, the job holder will also have to be familiar with research methodology to ensure adherence to quality research practices, so that the research findings will be acceptable to practitioners in the relevant field.

Furthermore, the jobholder might also be required to keep track of the costs of the research, which require some administrative experience. Scientific jobs could thus involve much more than doing theoretical research in a laboratory.

Roles of Career Scientists
We saw in the previous section that even when research is involved, scientific jobs could involve administrative and quality control roles. Many scientific jobs might not involve research as such. Instead, it might involve applying the jobholder’s knowledge to do practical work. For example, physicians apply their knowledge of healing science primarily to cure sick patients rather do research with medication.

Another example is the clinical psychologist engaged in providing clinical and forensic psychology service to patients, and advice and consultation to non-psychologist colleagues in the medical profession.

A forensic toxicology expert might be primarily involved in providing testimony in courts about the effect of alcohol on human body and driving skills, and explaining the significance of the results of a defendant’s breath and blood tests. Such a function requires the application of professional knowledge and experience in the relevant scientific field.

Environmental health practitioners might have to be community workers and change agents in addition to their roles of identifying and preventing environmental health problems. Possessing knowledge alone might not help them provide valuable services in their field. They will have to work with an environmental health team to create awareness about environmental health issues among the community, and show how the locality can be made a better place to live and work.

Scientific jobs can also involve working in areas other than the primary scientific field of the jobholder. For example, a healthcare specialist with Information Technology experience might be employed to develop clinical information models. They might have to do requirements studies to develop the kind of clinical information models that clinicians need. The requirements study in this case is more IT work than clinical work.

Another example is a specialist who works in the sales and marketing department helping the department explain product benefits and other technical aspects to prospective clients, or for creating product literature. Many specialists might be attracted by commercial work, and can use their specialist know-how, say in wound care, in marketing wound care products effectively.

Then there is the science teacher who is engaged in developing the scientists of tomorrow. The teacher must be able to create an enthusiasm for the field among students in addition to teaching them science.

Scientific jobs thus involve being more than just scientists. In fact few scientific jobs require you to be a scientist these days.

You don’t need another course on how to make millions in the stock market.
You don’t need another program on how to get rich in real estate.
You don’t need any more “secrets” of how to build a massive network marketing business… although my Students have done all these things and more.
You don’t need any more information about “how to reach your goals”… although when you follow The Code, you will reach your goals as a matter of course.
You don’t need any more courses on how to sell, how to make cold calls, or how to speak with confidence… although your ability to sell and your confidence level will naturally and dramatically increase as you follow The Code.

Now, are you ready for the biggest shocker of all? Here it is:
If you want to truly reach your full potential, you don’t need any more “how to succeed” information at all.

I know that sounds crazy, even blasphemous to those people who’ve spent tons of money on every “how to succeed” program out there. But that’s the very point. You’ve spent all that money, all that time, all that energy… And you’re still not where you want to be.

You see, I’m not going to teach you any of those things, not because I don’t want to. It’s because I don’t have to.

You have been told all you need to know about “how to succeed.”

Now it’s time that you ALLOWED YOURSELF TO SUCCEED to your full potential.

And, as you now know, you can’t get that from another “how to succeed” program – because you can never solve a Why-To problem with a How-To solution.

The scent of lavender has been proven to lift people’s spirits by fighting depression, can relax the mind after a grueling day, and can even help soothe body aches and pains. When used in our homes, lavender can enhance our moods and make life more enjoyable. There are many ways to use the power of lavender and incorporate that power into our daily lives. These gorgeous purple flowers can be dried and used either in stalk form or through the dried buds of its flowers. You can also purchase lavender essential oil for a highly concentrated source that will give a tremendous amount of aromatherapy with using only a few drops of the oil.

Dried lavender on the stalks can be used to create gorgeous wreaths or a dried flower arrangement. Wreaths with solid lavender all around make a dramatic purple accent to any room while adding a fragrant scent that lasts for months. If the stalks need refreshing, a little spray from an atomizer filled with lavender essential oil is the perfect solution. If you either want to tone down the lavender scent in your wreath or don’t have a lot of purple in your décor, you can always use a few sprigs here and there to add a touch of purple and a hint of fragrance to your setting.

A dried flower arrangement is the perfect place to add lavender. Again, you can intensify the impact of the color and scent of this flower by filling a vase or basket with just lavender. A few stalks here and there can be used to add pizzazz to an existing arrangement. The bathroom and bedroom are great areas for dried lavender because, respectively, it hides odors and brings relaxation. This is why when you go to the spa or to a massage therapist they always use lavender to enhance the ambiance for their clients.

Essential oils are simply the scented components of the lavender flower that have been added to a liquid for easy application; this is usually oil, but can also be in an alcohol-based liquid such as cologne. Oils are wonderful because they hold the scent for a longer time when applied to the skin or to sachet or fabric. Dating back to ancient times, lavender has been used in soaps and laundry to soften skin and give fragrance to clothing. You can purchase essential oils from a perfumery shop, natural foods store, or online.

Here are some tips for adding the scent of dried lavender to anywhere in your home:

Moisten a cotton ball with a few drops of lavender oil and add it to your vacuum cleaner canister or bag. It will fill your entire home with its wonderful scent!

Spray or drop some essential oil onto a washcloth and throw it in with your laundry in the dryer.

Place a shallow dish filled with lavender buds next to your bed to help induce sleepiness at night.

Add a dried flower arrangement or wreath anywhere in your home where you want to enjoy the light, continuous fragrance of lavender.

Yes, men think so…or is it ‘lust’ at first sight? How can a woman or man ‘really’ know?
If a woman thinks it is ‘love at first sight’, she may have found an incredibly ‘hot’ guy who matches her ideal social persona ‘catch’. If this guy actually knows how to be a natural, all women will want him and she will have to fight with others to ‘keep him’ (I can teach you to be this man).

Otherwise most of them appear to be quite boring because they try to impress her and don’t ‘get it’. But when dealing with ‘love at first sight’, yes it might be, but then longer term dynamics start to sink in and kind of spoil it.

Beauty is in the eye of the beer-holder, I mean, beholder.

‘Love at first sight’ is usually only perceptionally based if not in its entirety. No one can match up ideally to one person’s expectation of who they are or who they should be. Once you find out more about them, you’re going to be disappointed in what you thought they were. See how selfish we as people really are?!

Eventually you go through the hardships of a ‘real’ relationship and very very rarely will everything work out perfectly where the people are a real match (at least in our highly developed, opinionated, individualistic cultural society).

You are only throwing your perception or ideals on who you think that person is or should be (I have done this a lot in the past). We want a person to be the ideal match to what WE think they should be. Most often if not all the time, we find out they are not actually what we idealized and then are a little disappointed. A real relationship is going to take a lot of work and a lot more work than two ‘simpler’ people.

If you can spark attraction shortly after you meet a woman, there is a more realistic chance she will feel deeper emotions for you than her social persona (of what states what she says she wants) and she will often forgive your other misgivings as long as you understand natural attraction.

This is actually very generous of her because now, guys (way) below her level physically actually have a chance. The process of attraction is slightly different for men and women.

Men will often instantly disqualify women for a sexual relationship based on their looks (ahem), while women keep an open mind to see who knows how to make them ‘feel’ the feelings that they respond to so powerfully physiologically and emotionally. They are interested in a mans character attributes because that are things that can be of interest for the long haul.

These feelings have a biological root which she cannot choose or control. This is why an average looking guy who ‘get’s it’ can have more of a chance than a good looking guy who easily proves himself wrong to her right away.

She will resent that most of her counterparts do not ‘get it’ yet but will be open to starting something with a man who finally can just ‘lead her through’ the natural process of attraction…then often sex ‘just happened’ or she got ‘swept away’..this is the way it is supposed to be and that she fantasizes about (and reads in those sappy romance novels).

Don’t be thrown off by what a woman says she wants if you are not that social reflection of her consciousness yourself, she is programmed biologically to react to men who are true naturals with her or who display aspects of being a natural. Do not let that stop you. Her biological inheritance (when in tandem with a true natural man) will override ANY social programming she may have, as long as he maintains true congruency and doesn’t ‘screw it up’.

If you are a natural you probably won’t screw it up when you are reaching that part of her (there is much more leniency here). If you are ‘walking on egg shells’ by trying to be ‘qualified’ by her social persona, it’s virtually a guarantee you’ll screw it up even with any small move. Take the very ending of ‘Boat Trip’ where Roselyn Sanchez says to the wussy Cuba Gooding, Jr. character, “Ok, but you BETTER not screw it up.”

Sure the movie ends with a kiss but who has the control here? Whose reality is he in? Love at first sight, but he is based in the wrong paradigm of ‘being’ that he WILL screw it up because of the power dynamics and several other factors (she is in control by far).

In fact, you will almost put aside the entire notion of ‘love at first sight’ because it’s too romancey for you (although you may secretly keep that dream alive); but you understand reality a little more, that different relationships with different women are going to give you different experiences.

Of course you may be aware of lust at first sight with women you see most everywhere you go, but you really have to get to know her more to find out who she is, otherwise it is all just perception.

If you can develop yourself to look as good as you can and get your internal paradigm and life straight and clear, then you can naturally accelerate the process of attracting women and starting things with little effort. Your focus should really be on developing yourself and living in a natural paradigm, while denying all of the perceptual B.S. that is going on. Be an interesting and intriguing man and improve yourself; HAVE something to offer women who are lucky enough.
