Controversial Benetton Ad Campaign

Benetton is now promoting a new initiative, called simply Unhate, in support of the Unhate Foundation. It's meant to promote peace and harmony between people of different cultures – and what better way to do that than by presenting leaders of different cultures sharing the love. One photo shows the Pope kissing another man in the mouth, and it will be pulled from the campaign.

This is the celebration of the vegetarian festival in Phuket, Thailand. The local Chinese community believe that abstaining from meat and other stimulants, as well as self-punishment, drilling of body parts, can bring them peace of mind, health and welfare. The festival begins on the first evening of the ninth lunar month of Chinese calendar and lasts for nine days. How can sticking of diferent weird objects bring you peace? Meet Andrew Myers, one of the most patient modern-day sculptors around. This Laguna Beach, California-based artist goes through a multi-step process to create incredible works of art you almost have to see (or touch) to believe. He starts with a base, plywood panel, and then places pages of a phone book on top. He then draws out a face and pre-drills 8,000 to 10,000 holes, by hand. As he drills in the screws, Myers doesn't rely on any computer software to guide him, he figures it out as he goes ...

Adult dogs spend approximately half of their life sleeping, typically 12 hours each day and some breeds may sleep as much as 18 hours per day! Dogs do have different stages of sleep like people do. So either dog is side sleeper, back sleeper (four paws in the air), curled up in a ball sleeper or lying back to back, you have to admit it - they are always so damn cute!
